SPOON SPORTS CAMSHAFT KIT + ECU (HONDA CR-Z 10-14)

Spoon Performance Camshaft kit for CRZ ZF1 The CRZ Vtec system works in a slightly different way compared to the conventional system that most Honda Enthusiasts are used to. The CRZ utilises a camshaft with a single lobe that engages two inlet valves per cylinder when Vtec is engaged at higher RPMS.

At low RPM the camshaft only operates one valve to give better economy and allow for the electric motor to assist. The Spoon camshaft kit utilises parts from the GE8 Honda Jazz that permanently engage both valves giving vast improvement in torque and power in the lower RPM’s.
Additional the re-profiled camshaft with higher lift and duration lobes give a marked improvement in power and torque through the higher RPM’s
